Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a sponsorship on the Mundopoly board game, you ("Sponsor") agree to the following terms and conditions with Mundopoly ("We", "Us", or "Our").

1. Sponsorship Overview

Mundopoly is a limited-edition community board game celebrating Mundelein, Illinois. Sponsors receive placement on the game board, with specific placement depending on the sponsorship type purchased (property space, corner space, center illustration, card, or other designated areas).

2. Payment & Refund Policy

Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Due to the custom nature of the game production and limited availability, all sponsorship sales are final. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, and must be requested within 7 days of purchase.

3. Logo & Content Requirements

• Sponsors must provide a high-resolution logo (minimum 300 DPI, PNG or SVG format preferred) via the sponsor portal within 14 days of purchase.
• Logos must be owned by the Sponsor or the Sponsor must have proper licensing rights.
• We reserve the right to request modifications to logos or content that do not meet our quality standards or are not suitable for print production.
• If a suitable logo is not provided by the deadline, we may use publicly available imagery or a text-based placeholder.

4. Content Guidelines

All sponsor content must be appropriate for a family-friendly board game. We reserve the right to reject or modify any content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or not in keeping with community values. This includes but is not limited to content that promotes violence, discrimination, adult themes, or illegal activities.

5. Production Timeline

The estimated game production completion is August 2026. This timeline is subject to change based on manufacturing and supply chain factors. We will communicate any significant delays to sponsors. Sponsors acknowledge that production timelines are estimates and not guarantees.

6. Limited Edition Commitment

Mundopoly is a limited edition of 1,000 games. Sponsors who purchase board spot sponsorships (property, corner, railroad, utility, tax, card space, or center) will receive one (1) complimentary copy of the game. Additional copies may be purchased separately.

7. Intellectual Property

• Sponsors retain all rights to their logos and trademarks.
• By submitting content, Sponsors grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce their logo and business name on the game board, packaging, marketing materials, and related promotional content.
• We retain all rights to the Mundopoly game design, artwork, and overall creative work.

8. Liability Limitations

Our liability is limited to the sponsorship amount paid. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The game is provided "as is" and we make no warranties regarding sales performance, marketing exposure, or business outcomes resulting from sponsorship.

9. Sponsor Portal Access

Upon purchase, Sponsors receive access to a secure portal to upload logos, review their placement, and track production status. Portal access links are valid for 90 days and can be refreshed by contacting us.

10. Communication

By purchasing a sponsorship, you consent to receive email communications regarding your sponsorship, production updates, and game-related announcements. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but transactional emails related to your sponsorship cannot be disabled.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to game design, layout, or sponsor placement as needed for production quality. Significant changes affecting a sponsor's placement will be communicated in advance when possible.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lake County, Illinois.
